Kent Test Mock: English, Maths and Reasoning

A practice sitting styled on the Kent Test: five timed, multiple-choice papers with five options on every question. English and Maths first, then Verbal, Spatial and Non-Verbal Reasoning, the last two split into short subtests that each run on their own clock. Your results show an estimated score range for each of English, Maths and Reasoning, never a single made-up number.

We ask for birth month and year (not a full date of birth) because the real test is age-standardised, so results are only meaningful when compared with children of the same age in months.

Unofficial practice resource inspired by publicly available information about the Kent Test, which Kent County Council sets and GL Assessment produces and marks. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Kent County Council or GL Assessment. No past Kent paper has ever been released, so every question here is original and written for this practice resource. Kent publishes the paper's structure but not what each year's questions are. Verbal Reasoning draws four question types a sitting from a pool of seven, because the real test sets about four types a year; the Non-Verbal and Spatial types, and how English splits between its passage and the rest, are this resource's best reading of what is published and what families report, not Kent's own list. Score ranges are estimates fitted to raw and standardised scores families have obtained from Kent in past years, so the real conversion will differ from year to year. The unmarked writing task is not included.
