Terms of use

The terms for using Honest Mocks

The short version: these are practice papers, not the real exam; the account is an adult's, used to help a child; and you can leave and take your data with you at any time.

Last updated: 6 October 2026

Who we are

Honest Mocks (honestmocks.co.uk) runs this site. Contact us through our contact form.

Accounts

  • An account must be opened by an adult (18 or over), usually a parent or carer. Children use Honest Mocks through a family's account, and through their own child sign-in if the parent turns it on.
  • You are responsible for the children you add, for who you invite into your family, and for keeping your sign-in and your children's PINs private.
  • Only add a child you are responsible for, or whose parent has asked you to help (for example, as their tutor).

What the mock papers are, and are not

  • Our papers are unofficial practice material written by us in the style of each exam. Honest Mocks is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, GL Assessment, ISEB, AQA, any exam board, or any school named on the site.
  • Results and readiness reports are an honest estimate from practice at home. They are not a prediction or a guarantee of any result in a real exam or of any school place.
  • Exam formats change. We work to keep our papers in line with what each school publishes, but always check the school's own information for the current format.
  • If you think a question is wrong, please tell us. We correct mistakes.

Fair use

Please don't:

  • copy, resell or republish our questions or papers, except to print them for your own family's practice;
  • try to get into another family's account or data, or to disrupt the service;
  • use automated tools to download content in bulk.

We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. We will tell you why, unless the law prevents us.

Price

Honest Mocks is currently free. If we introduce paid features, we will say exactly what they are and what they cost before you are asked to pay, and nothing you already have will be taken away without notice.

Our content

The questions, papers, reports and design of Honest Mocks belong to us. Your children's answers and results belong to your family: you can download them, and delete them, at any time. Our privacy policy explains how we look after them.

Availability

We aim to keep the site running and your data safe, but we can't promise the service will never be interrupted. We may change or stop features, and will give reasonable notice of anything that affects you significantly.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for anything the law does not allow us to limit, including death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or your rights as a consumer. Apart from that, because the service is free and for practice, we are not responsible for exam outcomes, school admissions decisions, or losses that were not a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms.

Leaving

You can stop using Honest Mocks at any time, and delete your account, sign-in included, from your family account.

Changes and law

We may update these terms, and will change the date at the top when we do. If a change matters, we will tell account holders before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales, unless you live elsewhere in the UK, in which case you may also use your local courts.
